I have always loved games, and I have played them for as long as I remember. But wasn't until recently I realized that I definitely belong in the game development industry.

Better late than never, I applied for game programming at The Game Assembly, and two years later, I am now looking for an internship. I am quite excited to try my wings in the industry!

During my time at the school, we have created seven games in group projects of about 20-30 members. And the main thing I have learned about myself is that I definitely thrive when collaborating and discussing with other developers when making games.

Programming is my discipline, but I have a great interest in game design in general. What makes one game good, but another not? Games use technology, but the parts of the game that interact with the human mind fascinates me the most.

I have always been keen to learn new things, striving to be a generalist. During our projects, I often find myself giving design advice to level or audio designers, for example, and often taking on the QA/Playtesting role in the group.

I have done various things before I started at The Game Assembly. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. I have also worked as a mathematics teacher, and I had a short military career.

Apparently, I appreciate structure and organization, which is why I chose programming as my (main) discipline in game development.
